If you haven't noticed...

If you haven't noticed, I've been going through and posting old class work.  Part of this is because of the way I'm rearranging my blogs, but another part is because I want to keep a record of how I've improved over the years.  I decided to post works from each class all in one post in order to keep things organized and to reduce the number of posts I have to transfer.  I also decided most of my sketch posts aren't worth transferring over, so we're just mostly going to move on from here.  I want to post some concept development for my webcomic to show how that developed, a character I recently developed, then the development of the characters I draw for the campaign I'm playing in right now.  After that we'll be all caught up!

Oh yeah, and I need to repost the process post I did about how I approach my journal comic.

Let's see... other news...  I moved.  My parents built a new house and are letting my husband and me live in the basement rent free.  Now we have to commute to school, but it's saving us a bunch of money.  I graduate in April and need to start looking for a job.  Earning money would be nice.  I've been playing some video games, and I'd like to review them for you sometime soonish.  I started writing another novel for my writing class and have been improving by steps in my drawing for animation class with Jake Parker.  (He's the best teacher I've ever had.  Seriously.)

And I got behind again on homework.  I should really go work on it now.

Ch-ch-ch-changes!

I'm changing my approach to this blog a bit.  The main big change is that I'm going to start posting my sketches and WIPs here along with everything else.  For the moment that entails cleaning up things here and transferring some posts from my art blog to this blog.  The art blog is turning into my portfolio, so it needs to get all tidied up and made professional looking.  Other than adding the art blog stuff, this blog will remain the same.

You see, I have this issue where I get big ideas and try to over organize myself.  I get separate notebooks, bags, websites, etc. for everything and then never do anything because it's too much work to keep track of all of them, carry the things around, you get the idea.  If everything is all in one place, then I actually do it, so that's the reason for these changes.  I'm going to slowly move things around over the next week or two.  After that everything should be set up the way I want it and I can start moving forward again!  Hooray!

Anyways, I've been working on that for the last four hours.  I should probably do homework now.

I've come back to the classic

Hello!  I've been in a little dilemma for the past little while of social networking.  I hate facebook and quit, so I've been trying Tumblr.  Tumblr is missing some key features I want to have in my social networking life, like the ability to reply to comments.  Tumblr is mostly all one-way communication.  But I don't think I'll quit it just yet since it's an okay place to advertise, but I really miss having a blog... I've kinda missed that since quitting Xanga and joining Facebook years ago.  So here I am again, back on blogger!  I guess there's also livejournal, but that has the drama stigma to it.  I used to have one, but never posted on it.  I think it's still floating around out there somewhere, my Xanga still is apparently, so why shouldn't my LJ?

So here I am.  I think I'll use this blog to write more of life stuff.  My art blog is the more "professional" one where I will post art WIP, finished art, sketches, and tutorials if I ever make them.  Here I will talk about life, just ramble, and possibly talk about other random project I'll be working on that aren't necessarily art related like my novels I write, poetry, crafts, and other random junk like that.  It's not junk though.  Yup!  This should work out much better!  Now I just need to get myself an audience...  C'mon peeps!  Get a blogger and follow me!
